Delivery Policy

DELIVERY POLICY

1 Delivery Process

1.1 Seegir will only deliver once all agreed payments have been received. Usually this will mean payment in full. In some circumstances for repeat customers that have built a trade history and have a trade account, delivery will be made prior to payment but under strict payment terms.

1.2 If your item is in stock, we will contact you normally within 1 working day to advise you of our delivery date. If your item is a non-stock item, we will advise you of an estimated delivery date normally within 2 working days but this may be dependent on Seegir’s Supplier providing Seegir with the relevant information.

2. Delivery Lead-times

2.1 Stock items will normally be delivered to you within 5 to 10 working days upon receipt of full cleared payment funds (or official written order for trade accounts).

 2.2 For non-stock items, we cannot give you an estimated delivery date until the Supplier has indicated to us their acceptance of our order and provided us with an estimated shipping date. For this reason, the 30 day limit for delivery by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 is changed to 60 days generally for non-stock items and 90-120 days for handmade bespoke items.

3. Delivery Charges

3.1 Standard Delivery charges will be included in the price of the product unless specified. The following product ranges include delivery in the price: Wine Cabinets Wine Accessories Cheese Cabinets Cigar Cabinets Cigar Humidors & Accessories Professional/Commercial Refrigeration Professional/Commercial Glass Washers & Dish Washers Classeq Professional/Commercial Ice Makers

3.2 Standard Delivery charges refer to any item to be delivered to a kerbside drop off only on a date stipulated by Seegir. Normal delivery dates and times are weekdays (excluding bank holidays) and normal working hours between 8am and 6pm.

3.3 Extra Charges will be incurred for delivering items to final location. Our prices start from £75+VAT (dependent on product) for a ground floor easy access location. By easy access location we mean no lifting over thresholds or steps, solid ground where access and lifting equipment can be used, not soft ground, not basement or any other floor location and clear access routes that comply to all of these stipulations. We suggest you ensure the item you have ordered fits through all doorways, passageways, corridors, rooms, driveways, paths, gardens etc. required for it to pass through to meet its final location from the outside delivery point.

3.4 If you require a delivery that does not meet our standard delivery terms then please contact us and we may be able to arrange a special delivery for you at a supplementary cost.

3.5 Supplementary delivery charges will be incurred for the following reasons: - for any non-ground floor easy access location if we agree to undertake the delivery; - to meet with a Customer’s specific date and time requirements; - certain geographical areas of the UK including but not limited to certain areas of Scotland, Cornwall and NE England; - cancellation of an arranged delivery by the Customer; - delays caused by the inaccessibility of the item’s location or the access route to it; - aborted delivery for any reason other than our own fault.

3.6 If you have received a quotation from us and requested specific delivery requirements, then please refer to the delivery & installation section of the quotation for confirmation of our delivery costs.

3.7 For those product ranges where the price does not include delivery, this is due to the product logistics/size/ shape/weight and we will cost each individual enquiry or order for delivery once we receive the final location details (site address, kerbside only, ground floor easy access, other floor etc.)

4. Installation & Survey Charges

4.1 For items that require installation we will charge you a supplementary charge if we have agreed to undertake the installation. Given the nature of the items that Seegir sells (weight, size, fragility etc.) each request for a fully installed product will be costed accordingly. This may require a visit to the location where the item is to be located to carry out a survey. Surveys may be chargeable and we will advise you if they are chargeable prior to undertaking the survey.

5. Delivery Areas

5.1 We deliver to UK mainland only. We do not deliver to Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland or any other island considered to be part of the UK.

5.2 Certain areas of the UK including but not limited to certain areas of Scotland, Cornwall and NE England will incur a supplementary delivery charge and you will be advised if so upon receipt of your order.

5.3 Customers can arrange collection of their items at their own cost from our premises in Newbury, Berkshire. The standard delivery cost will still be incurred to cover supplier delivery, administration and packaging costs.

6. Responsibilities

6.1 We are not responsible for any delay or non-delivery of items due to: - circumstances beyond our control - inaccessibility of the intended location of the item and/or the access route to it. This may result in the delivery being delayed and incurring a supplementary charge, the delivery being aborted and incurring a supplementary charge or the order being cancelled and incurring a restocking charge (see Returns Policy for further information).

6.2 We are not in any circumstance liable for any consequential loss or damage arising from any delay in delivery or in any failure to deliver.
